Group Therapy in Collegeville, PA
Healing happens in connection. You do not have to do this alone.
Let's do this thing. Together.
Group therapy offers a space to be truly seen, supported, and understood by people who get it, because they’re navigating similar struggles too. It’s a place to learn practical skills, practice emotional regulation, and build confidence in real time, with a therapist guiding the group toward growth. And here’s the thing: there’s something powerful about realizing you’re not the only one.

Our Current Group

Beyond Coping Skills: Understanding the truth Behind your Anxiety
Lead by two humans that really get it.
In this group, we will go beyond the exhausting & chronic management of anxiety or adding to your list of coping skills. We will understand what your anxiety protects, shift your relationship to it (both in your body and your brain), and create space for YOU to be in charge, not your anxiety.
Core Pillars:
-
Anxiety has meaning (protective intelligence, not a defect). Maybe we needed it at one point, and now it is impeding living.
-
Body-based change (nervous system, not just thoughts)
-
Parts work with the inner critic (transform shame-driven motivation into Self-led support)
What is it?
-
8-week therapy group for young adults who want more than coping strategies.
-
We’ll work with anxiety through nervous system regulation, gentle body-based practices, and parts-informed tools, especially for the inner critic, so you can feel more grounded, more in control, and freer in your day-to-day life.
What will we do?
-
Connect with others who share the same struggles and realize you're not the only one managing anxiety that feels like too much
-
Understand your anxiety, what activates it and what it’s trying to protect, what it is afraid might happen, and why it keeps showing up.
-
Learn body-based ways to calm your system when you’re on high alert (or shutting down)
-
Get to know the parts of you that jump in to manage anxiety (inner critic, perfectionist, avoider) and keep us stuck
-
Get support with the real-life moments anxiety actually shows up: overthinking at night, spiraling, reassurance-seeking, people-pleasing, avoidance, or panic sensations
-
Build a personalized toolkit that fits your life so you feel steadier, clearer, and more like yourself
-
Connect with others who truly get it in a small, supportive group where you can feel less alone, learn from others’ experiences, and practice new ways of responding in real time (sharing is always at your comfort level)

Why Group Therapy Matters
Healing gets easier when the people around you actually understand what you’re going through. Group therapy gives you community, accountability, and a safe place to try on new ways of coping sans judgment, just genuine support.
What group support can offer:
-
You feel less alone. When someone else names the exact thing you've been feeling, something shifts.
-
You learn skills that actually work in real life. Not just theory, but tools you can use the moment you walk out the door.
-
You receive support and gentle challenges. Sometimes we need someone to say, "You've got this," and other times we need, "What would happen if you tried?"
-
You practice boundaries and communication. In a safe space where stumbling is part of the process.
-
You build confidence through shared growth. Watching others take brave steps inspires you to take your own.
